Students from Queensbridge School performed an edited version of our acclaimed musical, as part of our Change My Story education programme.
Students from Queensbridge in Birmingham recently performed their Matilda Champion School production of Matilda The Musical, the culmination of two years of work with the RSC and a local theatre.
As part of the UK and Ireland tour of the musical, schools could become a Champion School in our nationwide education programme, Change My Story. They take part in a two-year partnership of
creative work, getting specialist support to produce an edited performance of Matilda The Musical as their school play.
Staff at the schools also have access to professional development courses, using the musical as a springboard for creative writing and exploring different storytelling techniques.
Matilda The Musical is on tour throughout the UK and Ireland until August 2019. The West End production at the Cambridge Theatre is currently booking until October 2019.
