We welcomed 24 school pupils to our Next Generation backstage programme this week, to get practical experience of making theatre.
The students come from our Associate Schools in Suffolk, Northampton and Cumbria and they have been selected by their teachers because they demonstrate an interest and aptitude in a particular area of theatre-making.
Over two days the 24 students will work across the company in our costume, digital, scenic arts, props, sound, lighting, front of house and stage management departments.
On the final day of their work experience, the students will put their learning into practice in a technical rehearsal of a scene from A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
