Road closures and accessible parking
From Sunday 10 to Friday 22 March Southern Lane is being resurfaced and will be closed. Southern Lane runs from the Arden Hotel past the Dirty Duck and The Other Place, to the junction of Old Town. Traffic will be diverted from Waterside up Chapel Lane (the one-way will be reversed). Please allow more time for your journey and to find a parking space.
There will be no parking on Chapel Lane during this period, which includes some accessible parking spaces. Alternative accessible parking spaces are available on Waterside and at the side and rear of The Other Place (which can be accessed). There is a car drop off point directly outside the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

Our theatres and eating places
The Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Swan Theatre are located on the same site next to the river. The Other Place is three minutes walk along Southern Lane.
The Rooftop Restaurant is situated on the third floor of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. As you approach the main entrance to the building, go inside and turn left and take the lift to the third floor. The Riverside Cafe is on the ground floor of our main building.

There is a large choice of fee-charging car parks in Stratford-upon-Avon.
There are seven bays on Waterside directly outside the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and 10 bays on Chapel Lane, the road opposite the Swan Theatre. These spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.
Southern Lane also has on-road parking for blue badge holders; the parking bays at the side and rear of The Other Place (formerly The Courtyard Theatre) are available. There is a car drop off point directly outside the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and a coach drop off point just past the Swan Theatre.
Park and Ride
Stratford's Park and Ride service runs daily from 7.30am, Mondays to Saturdays. The last Park and Ride bus leaves Wood Street at 7.00pm. Show your RSC theatre tickets or email confirmation for a discounted Maxi Family Ticket (2 adults and up to 4 children) – only £2 (all day).
PLEASE NOTE: From January 2018, engineering works will significantly affect the 23.15 train from Stratford-upon-Avon to London Paddington from Monday to Friday for an extended period. Please check www.chilternrailways.co.uk if you are planning to use this service after one of our performances.
You can travel directly to Stratford-upon-Avon train station from Birmingham (Snow Hill or Moor Street stations) with West Midlands Railway.
Last train back to Birmingham: Monday – Saturday departs at 11.30pm.
Trains from London travel from Marylebone station via Banbury, Leamington Spa and Warwick. The last train back to London, Monday – Friday, is at 11.15pm.
