Our outdoor performances, Riverside Cafe and Rocket ice cream van all have the ‘Good To Go’ mark, that shows we’re working hard to keep all our visitors safe.

“We’re Good To Go” is the official UK mark to signal that a tourism and hospitality business has worked hard to follow government and industry Covid-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

We have the mark on all the areas of the RSC that are currently running.

Our Riverside Cafe is open daily providing a takeaway service, and our 'Rocket' ice cream van is also available in front of the theatre. We ask visitors to observe social distancing and have provided markings on the pavement to help this.

For our outdoor performances we are restricting audience numbers to 23 household groups (maximum six people each), plus some standing spaces. Family groups sit in heart-shaped bubbles painted on the grass, separated from other groups by at least two metres.

We also take contact numbers for NHS Track and Trace, for cafe and outdoor performance visitors.

If you’re looking for things to do in Stratford, there are shops and restaurants open throughout the town, as well as the parks and gardens both sides of the river. You can also safely visit Shakespeare’s Birthplace and take a trip along the river with Avon Boating - both have the Good To Go stamp.

You can find more of the 'Good to Go' attractions for Stratford and the surrounding area on the Shakespeare's England website.
