As part of our Next Generation programme, a company of young actors and technicians will stage Sapho & Phao at The Other Place.

John Lyly's little-performed play, Sapho & Phao, will be brought to life by our Next Generation: Act company at The Other Place on Saturday 14 July.

Casting has been announced for this witty story of gods and mortals, with young people from our Associate Schools joining The Fantastic Follies of Mrs Rich actor Jessica Turner on stage. They will be supported by students from Next Generation: Backstage, who will work behind the scenes on everything from stage management to props as part of the production.

The Next Generation programme allows talented young people between the ages of twelve and seventeen to gain experience of different aspects of theatre work, with support and mentorship from our professional actors and technicians.

The final production was put together by the company over the course of two weekends and an intensive week-long residential, and will play in the Studio Theatre for just two performances.
