We're very sad to hear of the death of Diana Rigg. Diana joined us in 1959 - our Artistic Director Gregory Doran pays tribute.

Diana joins the Stratford company in 1959, and became one of the first members of Peter Hall's new Royal Shakespeare Company in 1960.

She played Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Cordelia in Scofield's King Lear, as well as Viola, and Adriana in Clifford Williams’s runaway hit The Comedy of Errors. What a sad loss.
