Our award-winning West End show returns to China for a third national tour from February to August 2026.

This year, the Olivier-award-winning produciton of Matilda The Musical embarks on its second tour of China, with six venues confirmed until August 2026.

This marks the second time the musical has toured in China, with its first tour in 2019 breaking all Chinese box office records.

This tour coincides with the msucial's second UK and Ireland tour, as well as marking the 15th anniversary of its international tour.

The cast for the China tour of Matilda The Musical includes: Steffan Lloyd-Evans as Miss Trunchbull, Lottie Power as Miss Honey, Sebastien Torkia as Mr Wormwood, Amelia Adams as Mrs Wormwood, Nompumelelo Mayiyane as Mrs Phelps, Archie Bennett as Rudolpho, Cameron McAllister as The Escapologist, Jamie Haas as Michael Wormwood/Tommy and Georgia Baines as Lavender.

The ensemble includes: Elliott Baker-Costello, Izzy Cross, Siobhan Diffin, Shoshana Ezequiel, Keiahna Jackson-Jones, Evangeline Jarvis Jones, Kent Jeycocke, Patrick King, Éva-Marie Saffrey, Kira McPherson, Jessica Nalton, Weslee Swain Lauder, Ollie Selwood, Garrett Tennant and Sam Varley.

The three young performers playing the title role of Matilda are Donna Craig, Hannah Reinders and Lexi Reinders. They are joined by Aidan Atwell, Benji Raubenheimer, Samuel Lamond and Ted Roberts.

Matilda The Musical is written by Dennis Kelly, with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin. The show is developed and directed by Matthew Warchus, with design by Rob Howell and choreography by Peter Darling. The tour is produced by GWB Entertainment in association with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
