Welcome to Co-Artistic Directors Daniel Evans and Tamara Harvey's full second season at the helm of the RSC, with seven new shows announced. Join us for a programme of inspiring global stories, thrillingly told and exquisitely made.

This bold season is an exploration of old and new, with some of the best-known stories reimagined and new stories brought to life. We're throwing open the doors to a breadth of genres and expressions, and giving artists a platform to experiment with techniques and forms that reflect the scope of our creative ambition.

We're also looking outward to the world, with stories this season coming from Malawi to Manhattan, taking us to French fields, Scottish heaths, mythical lands and Giant country.

Renowned artists will be making their RSC debuts, such as Whitney White, who presents her two-part multi-disciplinary performance All Is But Fantasy at The Other Place, and Lynette Linton, former Artistic Director of the Bush Theatre, who directs our brand new muscial, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind.

Meanwhile you might recognise some familiar faces, such as Daniel Raggett, who returns to direct Outlander's Sam Heughan in Macbethand Alfred Enoch, who follows up his stunning performance in Pericles in the Swan by bringing Henry V to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, directed once again by Tamara Harvey.

Join us this 2025/26 season for stories that connect us, create opportunities and bring joy.

Read on for the new additions, and for the season as a whole.
