Submissions for 37 Plays have now closed.
This year, we're marking the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s First Folio and, as part of our celebrations, we're looking for the UK's best new writing talent. Led by the RSC and Associate Regional Theatres, 37 Plays is open to anyone in the UK who wants to submit a play.
Submitted plays will be read anonymously by a national reading panel selected by our Associate Regional Theatres. You must enter according to your age: age 11 and under, 12-17 years, or 18+. For plays written by more than one person, you can either nominate a lead writer or use the average age of writers.
The 37 selected plays will be announced in the spring and will be performed script-in-hand, across the UK and online in the autumn.
