We’re marking National Apprenticeship Week 2024 by celebrating the 28 apprentices who have started new career journeys working and training with us.

A year ago we pledged to expand our apprenticeship programme to 28 positions by spring 2024.

All 28 positions were filled through the year and we now have apprentices in a huge range of roles and departments, learning on the job and earning a salary whilst studying towards a qualification.

Meet two of our newest apprentices - Costume Maker Jessie Humby and Costume Accessories Maker Kay Van-Wyk in the video below.

"I’m learning skills that aren’t typically taught anywhere else, and I think that’s really exciting and it will open quite a few avenues for me."

We now have apprentices in:

  • Carpentry and Joinery
  • Costume
  • Customer Service
  • Finance
  • Sound
  • Stage and Props
  • Wigs, Hair and Make-up
  • And many more!

They are all developing the skills and knowledge required for exciting and rewarding careers in the creative arts and elsewhere.
