About the playwright

Rob Thorpe -Woods is a writer from London. Butterflies is his first full-length selected play. His play Rooted was recently shortlisted for Arch Hope Prize. Rob was a member of the Royal Court Writers group in 2022, he has been writing plays since he was 17 but has only recently had the confidence to share his work.
