In Rupert Goold's original 2025 Stratford-upon-Avon production, Luke Thallon took the part of Hamlet opposite Jared Harris as Claudius, with the action taking place aboard a sinking ship.

Rupert Goold's "scintillating" (Financial Times) production of Hamlet originally played in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon in 2025. It starred Luke Thallon as Hamlet and Jared Harris as Claudius.

The show then went on tour across England throughout spring 2026 with Ralph Davis taking the part of Hamlet. Tour venues included Truro, Bradford, Norwich, Nottingham, Blackpool, Newcastle, York and Canterbury.
