Join us during October half term for workshops and activities for all the family from 29 October - 2 November 2018.
There's lots going on this October half term including a gloriously grisly Halloween, full of all things mythical and gory. Start the day learning how to make grisly battle wounds with our Blood, Guts and Gore demonstration, then bring the battle to life as you fight like a Trojan with our Stage Fighting workshops and finish the day making a mythical monster, all inspired by Shakespeare’s play of war, Troilus and Cressida
All week you can pick up a free Activity Trail to discover hidden gems around the building, go to the top of the Tower to hear spooky ghost stories and dress up in costumes from our new dressing up cabinet. Just ask a member of staff for a free trail or to find out more.
The Play's The Thing
Kids go free to our award winning family exhibition The Play's The Thing during Warwickshire school holidays. Up to four children can go free with every full price Adult ticket purchased.
Alongside our drop in activities, exhibitions and events, you can take part in workshops, using approaches straight from our rehearsal rooms. These are broken down into three age ranges:
For ages 4 – 8 and their families/carers
Introduce the love of theatre and Shakespeare to your family with our series of fun and active 45 minute taster workshops.
For ages 8 – 12 and their families/carers
Discover how our actors work in the rehearsal room to make theatre whilst learning more about Shakespeare’s plays. We also run full-day workshops within this age group for young people to attend without their parent/carers.
For ages 13 - 17
These sessions will give a greater insight into the work of the RSC and how we create theatre and bring Shakespeare to life. These workshops are for young people to attend without their parents/carers.
