We have a huge range of props available to hire, from traditional theatrical props to contemporary items.
We offer a wide selection of props that have been used in various RSC productions, available to hire from our Prop Store in Stratford-upon-Avon. If you want chairs and stuffed bears, skulls and seagulls, baskets and caskets and lanterns and luggage, then get in touch!
Who can hire props?
This service is open to anyone. Whether you're amateur or professional, for theatre, film or TV. We hire to schools, colleges, event organisers and private individuals, for parties or events, all are welcome.

Our Prop Hire Services
Many of our customers like to browse our store and select props themselves. With our staff on hand we can guide you to find the props that you require. If you can't visit the store in person, we can select props on your behalf and email images for you to choose from. We also offer a holding service to ensure your selection is available (subject to additional fees).
PRICES
Our prices are very competitive. Props are priced individually or in batches depending on the size, so you can hire as much or as little as you need.
- After week one the price reduces to 50% for the second week, and 25% from weeks 3 to 12, and then 10% after that.
- Our minimum hire period is one week. We don't hire for part weeks.
We accept credit card payments.
All props are hired under the basis that they are non-working props. For this reason we aren't able to hire out any guns or weapons from the armoury.

Please note that you won't be admitted to the building without appropriate footwear. The Prop Store is located in a workshop environment so all shoes must be closed toe and no under 18’s are permitted on site. The Prop Store is located over three floors with no lift so may not be suitable for those with mobility requirements, although we will make every effort to accommodate your needs.
Due to the terms and insurance of our armourer’ license, we are not permitted to hire out any kind of weaponry.
