Lesson 4 will focus on a Deeper Interrogation and will pay particular focus to the witches prophecy; the iambic pentameter; and ask students to imagine and write the scenes that Shakespeare left out.

Lessons 1-3 and focused on plot, character journeys and language throughout the play. 

Lesson 4 invites students to explore the start of the play again by looking at the witches’ prophecy. These exercises will take students into the rhythm of the play and asks them to imagine what might have happened between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth off stage through a writing exercise. 

This lesson will typically take 90 minutes.
