Morton Hall Tulip Festival

Morton Hall Tulip Festival

We are thrilled to host the 2021 Tulip Festival at Morton Hall Gardens. A selection of more than 100 tulip varieties can be admired in borders, pots and as cut flowers, revealing the magic and splendour of this unique flower. Expert advice from Bloms Bulbs, winner of 68 Chelsea Gold Medals will be at hand. Away from the fireworks of tulips, gentle spring planting can be enjoyed in Morton Hall's peaceful woodland gardens. Longer walks lead through the Parkland Meadow where camassias and alliums stand out from a sea of wildflowers. Lunches and teas are served in a garden café inside a large marquee on the East Lawn. A selection of original costumes demonstrating the craftsmanship of the RSC costume department will be on display. All proceeds support costume-making at the RSC.

Unwrapped

Unwrapped

Our Unwrapped demonstrations offer a peek into the rehearsal room, with the Assistant Director and members of the cast, often our understudies, looking at one or two particular moments from the play. They give an insight into how a scene is taken off the page and onto the stage, with the actors and Assistant Director showing the type of exercises and discussion that took place during rehearsals.
