  • Streaming of Love's Labour's Lost, Thursday 21 October, Online, Free

    Level: Subscribers, Members and Patrons. The next in our series of streamed recordings from the RSC archive, Christopher Luscombe’s beautiful 2014 production of Love’s Labour’s Lost was paired with Love’s Labour’s Won at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre before being revived in 2015 for the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London. The action took place either side of World War One and both productions shared a set based on Charlecote Park, the National Trust stately home near Stratford-upon-Avon.

  • The Comedy of Errors: Creative Team Panel Discussion, Tuesday 30 November, Online, Free

    Level: Members and Patrons. As The Comedy of Errors opens at the Barbican, we are joined online by the creative team behind the production giving us an insight into how the production was brought to the  stage and evolved to play in the Lydia & Manfred Gorvy Garden Theatre, as well as on tour, before concluding the run at the Barbican.

  • The Magician’s Elephant Family Afternoon, Saturday 13 November, 1.30-5pm, In Person, £15 for adult and £10 for children under 12

    Level: Patrons. Join us for an afternoon of fun for all the family celebrating our Christmas production, The Magician’s Elephant. You will attend a workshop inspired by the production followed by a visit to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre set.

    With the arrival of our wonderful Christmas 2021 production, The Magician’s Elephant, please join us for a very special Patrons’ Christmas Party, with a pre-show drinks and canape reception followed by the performance and post-show celebration with the company.

  • The Comedy of Errors: Patron’s Christmas Drinks, Thursday 9 December, In Person, Free with performance ticket

    Level: Patrons. Just in time for Christmas, this is an opportunity to join us for a pre-show drink and insight from a member of The Comedy of Errors company at the Barbican, London. Giving us a joyous moment of reunion, celebration and laughter as it arrives at the Barbican following its UK tour. 

  • Meet the Director: Much Ado About Nothing, Wednesday 12 January, 6-7pm, Online, Free

    Level: Silver Patrons and above. As Much Ado About Nothing prepares to open in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, this will be a chance to meet director Roy Alexander Weise and hear more about his process of bringing this production to the stage. 
  • Education Workshop: Henry VI, Thursday 20 January, 6-7pm, Online, £45

    Level: Patrons. Join us for an interactive online workshop led by an RSC Associate Learning Practitioner where you will explore the plays of Henry VI. You will discuss the themes, language and the process of unlocking Shakespeare through RSC rehearsal room techniques and text analysis.

    Level: Patrons. Join us for this annual event where we get the chance to tell you about the RSC’s plans for the next year, our priorities going forward and to show you how your support impacts the RSC and transform lives. 
  • Seasonal Streamings: Valentines Day – As You Like It, Sunday 13 February, 5-7pm, Online, Free.

    Level: Subscribers, Members, Patrons and above. Following the popularity of this production’s in-person screening in 2018, please join us for an online streaming of the fantastic 1963 production of As You Like It, with Vanessa Redgrave as Rosalind. 
  • Patron’ Afternoon Tea, Saturday 23 April, 3-5pm, In Person, £10

    Level: Patrons. Join us for our annual Patrons’ Afternoon Tea in celebration of Shakespeare’s birthday, this is a wonderful chance to come together with other supporters and celebrate the bard on his birthday. 
  • Seasonal Streamings: Shakespeare’s Birthday – The Merry Wives of Winsdor, Sunday 24 Aprirl, 11am-2pm, In Person, £10.

    Level: Patrons. Join us for the next in our series of Seasonal Streaming’s for the 1955 production of The Merry Wives of Windsor, this is the earliest television recording of a Stratford-upon-Avon production.   
  • An Insight into Creative Placemaking and Public Programming, Tuesday 17 May, 6-7pm, Online, Free.
