  • SHOWCASE DAY, Sunday 15 August 2021, Online

    Back by popular demand, Showcase Day will return this year as an online series of events, combining online talks, workshops and films that will give you a real insight into our work and how it has changed over the past year. Join us for an education workshop around Henry V. This session will run at the same time as an insight into The Magician’s Elephant.

  • Meet the Director: The Comedy of Errors, Thursday 16 September, Online, Free

    Level: Silver Patrons and Above. As The Comedy of Errors prepares to go on tour, this will be a chance to meet Director Phillip Breen and hear more about how he brought the production together, as well as asking your questions about the play’s journey.

  • A Study of the Text: Much Ado About Nothing, Wednesday 29 September, Online, £45

    Level: Patrons. An in-depth study and analysis of the play Much Ado About Nothing, guests will receive advance reading material to familiarise themselves with the play ahead of an evening of discussion and unlocking the language, joined by RSC actors reading excerpts of the text.

  • In Conversation: Love's Labour's Lost, Tuesday 12 October, Online, Free

    Level: Members and Patrons. We are thrilled to be joined online by members of the original 2014 Love’s Labour’  Lost Company to discuss their experiences as part of the production, as it played in Stratford-upon-Avon before transferring to London in 2015.

  • Streaming of Love's Labour's Lost, Thursday 21 October, Online, Free

    Level: Subscribers, Members and Patrons. The next in our series of streamed recordings from the RSC archive, Christopher Luscombe’s beautiful 2014 production of Love’s Labour’s Lost was paired with Love’s Labour’s Won at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre before being revived in 2015 for the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London. The action took place either side of World War One and both productions shared a set based on Charlecote Park, the National Trust stately home near Stratford-upon-Avon.

  • The Comedy of Errors: Creative Team Panel Discussion, Tuesday 30 November, Online, Free

    Level: Members and Patrons. As The Comedy of Errors opens at the Barbican, we are joined online by the creative team behind the production giving us an insight into how the production was brought to the  stage and evolved to play in the Lydia & Manfred Gorvy Garden Theatre, as well as on tour, before concluding the run at the Barbican.

  • THE MAGICIAN'S ELEPHANT PATRONS' CHRISTMAS PARTY, Friday 3 December 2021, The Other Place

    With the arrival of our wonderful Christmas 2021 production, The Magician’s Elephant, please join us for a very special Patrons’ Christmas Party, with a pre-show drinks and canape reception followed by the performance and post-show celebration with the company.

    Level: Patrons. Just in time for Christmas, this is an opportunity to join us for a pre-show drink and insight from a member of The Comedy of Errors company at the Barbican, London. Giving us a joyous moment of reunion, celebration and laughter as it arrives at the Barbican following its UK tour.
