Our new Chinese translation of The Tempest was first peformed at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in August 2018.
Shakespeare's magical final play was given a vivid contemporary translation into Chinese by So Kwok Wan, as part of out Shakespeare Folio Translation Project. The production was directed by Tim Supple working with a team of Chinese creative artists. It played in Beijing from 9 to 15 August 2018. See a selection of production photos below.
