The Holly and the Ivy, devised and directed by Ali Troughton, is a Christmas entertainment for all ages.

Up to fifteen actors (many being well known faces locally and on television) and a choir perform the event lasting about two and a half hours including a twenty minute interval.

“A laugh, a song and a tear “ best describes its format - an enjoyable and light-hearted evening containing readings, poetry, carols and a pantomime!

Just what is needed to set up the festive season.

This year the cast will include:

  • Ali and David Troughton (Falstaff in The Merry Wives of Windsor, and Tony in The Archers)
  • Sam Troughton (Stories at the National Theatre)
  • Jim Troughton (first team coach of Warwickshire CC’s 2nd Division Champions)
