We work with groups in Cornwall as part of our Shakespeare Nation Programme.
Hall for Cornwall in Truro is the largest performance venue in the region, hosting more than 300 musicals, operas, musical arts, ballets and other entertaining shows each year.
Get a sneak peek below of their upcoming performance of The Comedy of Errors, coming on 10 April 2022.
Henry VI Rebellion
74 adults from Blackpool, Bradford, Canterbury, Cornwall, Norwich and Nottingham, will appear alongside the professional cast in Henry VI: Rebellion. They will play the roles of working people who take part in the rebellion led by the character of Jack Cade against Henry VI, and townsfolk in a scene where Henry VI is out hunting.
Initially they will rehearse in their local theatres before taking to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre stage from April, with each group appearing in around four performances.
The Shakespeare Nation adult engagement work is generously supported by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation
