Help us to create a community flag at Stratford-upon-Avon Warm Hubs.
We are looking for an artist with experience of socially engaged practise to lead a series of creative workshops at local Warm Hubs to produce a community RSC flag.
The appointed artist will lead 10 workshops during Warm Hub sessions across Stratford and the local area to produce a communal piece of art inspired by their connection to the RSC, Shakespeare and the town.
You will have access to images of the RSC Collection to inspire conversations around style, themes, fabrics and textures.
The final piece of artwork will need to include aspects from all of the workshops/ participants, brought together to create one flag. This will then be photographed and re-printed onto flag material; therefore can be any visual art form. The flag will be flown on Shakespeare’s Birthday for the RSC.
