Many of you will remember Joseph Kloska’s previous performances in Imperium, Measure For Measure, Written On The Heart and the very moving World War I drama The Christmas Truce in which he played Bruce Bairnsfather.
This season he takes on the challenging role of Leontes in The Winter’s Tale and we are delighted that he has agreed to meet with us at the beginning of July.
Tickets £6 Friends/£7 Guests/£3 under 18s and RSC Key Members
Many RSC staff members have attended sessions designed to make them more aware of the consequences of living with dementia. Last year, one of these sessions was also attended by most of the Friends who volunteer on the Information desk and you will probably note that they now wear a ‘Dementia Friend’ badge whilst on duty.
We have been offered the opportunity to organise a session for RSC Friends in general. The session lasts for just an hour, would be held during the day and is very helpful and informative. If you are interested, please get in touch with Penny and she will liaise with RSC staff to arrange a date.
Man's Best Friends - dog walking group
Our regular dog-walking group in Stratford-upon-Avon, meeting on the second Wednesday of every month. Gather outside the Butterfly Farm gates at 10am, and take routes to suit you and your dog ending at the theatre for coffee outside. Or just meet us for coffee at 10.45am – everyone is welcome!
RSC Friends' Discussion Group
Viv Graver, a Friend based in Stratford-upon-Avon, has established an informal discussion group in response to the season's plays. If you would be interested in joining the group please email her at firstname.lastname@example.org and she will let you know when and where the next meeting will be taking place.
You need to be an RSC Friend to book for these events. Tickets for Friends' events are usually £6 for Friends, £7 for guests and £3 for guests aged 18 years or under (unless otherwise stated). We recommend RSC Friends' events are suitable for children aged 12 and above.
Please note guest tickets may only be purchased by current RSC Friends on behalf of their guest.
All profits from Friends' events go towards supporting our programme of activities or towards the cost of equipment required by our departments.
