Twenty-two of the country’s top comedians fresh from the fringe storm the Royal Shakespeare Theatre stage for two weekends of side-splitting stand-up this September. Join us between 12-21 September for our Comedy Festival in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Award-winning comedian Adam Kay shares entries from his diaries as a junior doctor in this “electrifying” (Guardian) evening of stand-up and music.

The accompanying book, This is Going to Hurt is a Sunday Times bestseller, and is being turned into a BBC series. Copies will be available to buy and for signature after the performance.

Our Unwrapped demonstrations offer a peek into the rehearsal room, with the Assistant Director and members of the cast, often our understudies, looking at one or two particular moments from the play.
