A free one-day festival takeover of the Bancroft Terrace and Gardens in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon celebrating our costume making heritage.
On Friday 20 August 2021, we celebrated the newly re-opened Costume Workshop on Waterside, with a free festival of costume making through the ages in Stratford-upon-Avon town centre.
Just under 7,000 people joined us for performances, workshops, exhibitions and family-friendly activities, giving everyone the opportunity to get creative, be entertained, relax and party whilst learning about the hidden history of the our Costume Workshop and the people who make the costumes you see on stage.
