Member Friend Events 

You can upgrade your Membership to a Friends Membership for an additional £20 a year. The RSC Friends organise and host events throughout the year. Recent guest speakers have included Tracy-Ann Oberman and Peter de Jersey.

    Mathew Baynton is playing Bottom in Eleanor Rhode’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Mathew has been seen in many television roles including Horrible Histories and was one of the creators, writers, and executive producers of the BBC series GhostsYou may also remember him playing Shakespeare in the film Bill.

    Shakespeare’s Birthday is always a highlight of our year and we look forward to welcoming Friends and special guests to our reception where we can raise a toast to Shakespeare’s memory, eat birthday cake, listen to readings, and sing Happy Birthday before going to watch the procession in the town.
