The Taming of the Shrew tells the story of Katherina, the elder of Baptista's two daughters, and Petruchio who takes on the challenge of 'taming' her.

For young people of all ages, there is so much to discuss in this play about the role of women and how Katarina challenges that as well as lots of themes you can use as routes into the text including:

  • Marriage
  • Money and wealth
