PRE-THEATRE DINING AT SUSIE’S CAFÉ BAR FROM DECEMBER
The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) is bringing a new, more relaxed pre-theatre dining offer to Stratford-upon-Avon – just in time for the return of its family friendly show A Christmas Carol.
Susie’s Café Bar, the RSC’s casual dining restaurant located at The Other Place, will be offering pre-theatre dining for the first time, from 5th December. Susie’s offers a relaxed, cheerful atmosphere and high-quality food in the striking surroundings of the RSC’s experimental theatre building.
Main courses include slow cooked ale-braised beef, roasted garlic mashed potato and carrot crisps; salmon, dill and caper fishcakes with wilted spinach and lemon butter sauce; and pumpkin, sweet potato and cauliflower curry, with pilaf rice.
The new menu, made from sustainable, local produce, features a vegan option and a Little Susie’s menu for children, with a range of healthy, kid-friendly meals. The adult menu starts at £14.95 for two courses and £18.95 for three, while the Little Susie’s menu is £7.95 for two courses and £9.95 for three.
