Your support is more vital than ever as we begin our recovery and plan for the future of the RSC. We are grateful for the continued support and generosity of our audiences.
The Royal Shakespeare Company is a charity and our mission is to transform lives through amazing experiences of Shakespeare and great theatre. Please consider supporting us by making a donation and Keep Your RSC.
In 2020, with our doors closed, we lost significant income, many millions, and there was a time when the future of the RSC was uncertain.
However, with the support of thousands of generous audience members and a £19.4 million loan from the Culture Recovery Fund, we are open and once again performing Shakespeare’s work in his hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon.
We are thrilled to be welcoming audiences back but it will take time to recover, to reopen all our theatres, and many years to repay the loan. This is the start of our recovery and your ongoing support is more important than ever.
Your support is felt by thousands of young people, as well as adults, and will help the RSC recover, creating theatre at its best, unlocking Shakespeare and transforming lives.
