Shakespeare Birthday celebrations - Book Online
Saturday 20 April, 9.45 am
Upper Circle Bar, Royal Shakespeare Theatre
Do join us for our traditional celebration of William's birthday when toasts will be raised and cake will be eaten in the delightful surroundings of the Upper Circle Bar. Come in good voice in order to sing 'Happy Birthday' and don't forget to wear a sprig of rosemary for remembrance. You will have plenty of time to see the procession and get to the Friends' flag before it is unfurled.
Tickets £7 Friends/£8 Guests. Booking closes on 18 April at 9.45am.

Pippa Nixon and Alex Waldmann - Book Online
Friday 10 May, 4pm
Holy Trinity Parish Centre

Last year they played King John and The Bastard and their roles this year include Rosalind and Orlando as well as Ophelia and Horatio, so we are particularly pleased that Pippa and Alex have readily agreed to take time out of their busy schedule to speak to the Friends.
Tickets £5 Friends/£6 Guests/£2.50 under 18s. Booking closes on 8 May at 4pm.

Stephen Boxer - Book Online
Saturday 29 June, 10.30am
Holy Trinity Parish Centre

Stephen Boxer has been a 'regular' in the RSC for several years but we don't think we've ever invited him to speak to the Friends before so we are especially pleased that he has agreed (on the first day of rehearsals!) to do just that. This will be an exciting season for him as among his roles will be that of Titus Andronicus.
Tickets £5 Friends/£6 Guests/£2.50 under 18s. Booking closes on 27 June at 10.30am

RSC Friends Discussion Group
Viv Graver, a RSC Friend based in Stratford-upon-Avon has established an informal discussion group in response to the season's plays. If you would be interested in joining the group please email her at vkmerlinmews@talktalk.net and she will let you know when and where the next meeting will be taking place.
