In 2021, Playful Productions and the RSC brought The Mirror and the Light, the highly anticipated final chapter of Hilary Mantel's Wolf Hall trilogy, to the Gielgud Theatre in the West End.
Nathaniel Parker returned to his Olivier Award winning performance as Henry VIII, with Ben Miles reprising his performance as the legendary Thomas Cromwell. Director Jeremy Herrin (This House, People, Places & Things, Labour of Love) and Designer Christopher Oram (Red, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Peter and Alice) were also reunited for the production.
