16 - 25 year olds RSC £5 ticket scheme
Anyone aged 16 to 25 can take advantage of the RSC's £5 ticket scheme. 50 tickets will be held off sale (across a range of prices) for each performance at the Theatre Royal. 25 of these tickets can be booked in advance. The remaining 25 will be sold from the Theatre Royal Booking Office from 9am (10am Wednesday) on the day of each performance.

Season tickets
A Newcastle season ticket is often available for a series of RSC productions in Newcastle. If you buy tickets to see Romeo and Juliet, King Lear and Antony & Cleopatra you can save 10% on the price of your tickets.
Friends of the Theatre Royal receive a 10% discount for performances at the Theatre Royal and Northern Stage. Conditions apply, please contact the Theatre Royal Box Office for further details.
Schools tickets
£15 Schools tickets are available for Monday - Wednesday evening performances and midweek matinees. Please book directly with the venue's Box Office.

Open captioned and audio described performances
A limited allocation of tickets for these performances are available at £15 each. Should you need the service of a companion their ticket is also £15. Call Box Office for further information on all access concessions.
Group bookings
Discounts are available for group bookings on Tuesday - Thursday evening performances and Saturday matinees (excluding gallery seats). The discount offers £2 off for Groups of 10 or more, £2.50 off for Groups of 20 or more and the group organiser goes free. For groups of 40 or more, the offer is £3 off and the group organiser goes free and receives a complimentary programme. All tickets discounts are subject to limited availability and at the discretion of the Box Office. Discounted tickets including Season Tickets cannot be booked in conjunction with or combined with any other reductions or offers.

Live Theatre offers concessionary rates for Over 60s, students, children under 16, the unemployed, people who receive disability benefits, Live TheatreYouth members and City/Equity card holders.

For every 10 children's tickets booked, one teacher goes free.
