The Lydia & Manfred Gorvy Garden Theatre is the home of this summer's production of The Comedy of Errors.
The Garden Theatre is a temporary outdoor performance space in the Swan Gardens, with safe outdoor seating for up to 500 people and great views of the stage. Phillip Breen's production of The Comedy of Errors is playing in the Garden Theatre until 26 September.
We increased the number of people who can attend performances at the Lydia & Manfred Gorvy Garden Theatre from 17 August, although not to full capacity. This means that for your visit we can't always guarantee socially distanced seating and you may be seated next to someone who isn’t part of your party, although we continue to space parties as much as we are able.
Visiting the Garden Theatre
Everyone is welcome to our new outdoor venue, including babes-in-arms. Children who can walk and sit in their own seat will require a ticket, and there will be support from our Front of House team if you need to exit and re-enter the performance at any time.
As an outdoor space, performances in the Garden Theatre operate slightly differently to those in our buildings. If you have access needs, please let us know when booking so we can fully accommodate you. There is only be reserved seating for those with access requirements; all other seating is allocated on arrival, and is in line with government guidance. Visit our Garden Theatre FAQs page to learn more about the performance, accessibility, and booking information.
