Alice Birch’s award winning play will make its Scottish premiere at the Traverse Theatre as part of this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Directed by our Deputy Artistic Director Erica Whyman, Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again. will play at The Other Place, Stratford-upon-Avon as part of our Making Mischief festival from 2-13 August. It transfers to the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh from 17 August.
The play examines the language, behaviour and forces that shape women in the 21st century. It asks what’s stopping us from doing something truly radical to change them.
It was first performed at the 2014 Midsummer Mischief Festival in Stratford-upon-Avon. It then transferred to the Royal Court Upstairs and was recently produced at New York’s Soho Rep. Following its Edinburgh run it will transfer to the Shoreditch Town Hall in London.

This year Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again forms part of our Making Mischief Festival of new plays, accompanied by a programme of talks and events.
