Where are the RSC theatres?

We have three theatres in Stratford-upon-Avon. The Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Swan Theatre are located on the same site next to the river. The Other Place is three minutes walk along Southern Lane.
The Rooftop Restaurant

The Rooftop Restaurant is situated on the third floor of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. As you approach the main entrance to the building, go inside and turn left and take the lift to the third floor. The Riverside Cafe is on the ground floor of our main building.
Getting to the RSC by car

Stratford-upon-Avon is a short drive from Junction 15 of the M40, giving good access to the M42, M5, M6 and M25. Our postcode is CV37 6BB.
Car parks

There is a large choice of fee-charging car parks in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Accessible parking

There are ten bays on Waterside directly outside the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and seven bays on Chapel Lane, the road opposite the Swan Theatre. These spaces are free of charge when displaying a blue badge and are available on a first come, first served basis controlled by NSL for Warwickshire County Council.

Southern Lane also has on-road parking for blue badge holders, in any bay and free of charge; the parking bays at the side and back of The Other Place are available free of charge when displaying a blue badge. There is a car drop off point directly outside the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and a coach drop off point just past the Swan Theatre.

Electric Vehicle Charging Points

The Bridgeway multi-storey car park has electric vehicle charging points and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Church Street car park may be used for charging (no other parking in office hours). Information on the charging points and charges is available from the Stratford-on-Avon Council website.
Cycling to the RSC

The theatre is accessible via the National Cycle Network Route 41 and there are bicycle racks outside of the main RSC theatre. You can get help planning your journey from cyclestreets.net.
