Open Stages

April 2014 – April 2015

As a celebration of Shakespeare and amateur theatre, the RSC's Open Stages project is working with 100 amateur companies  across the UK. As part of the project each company is producing its own Shakespeare or Shakespeare themed production.

Find a production near you on our interactive map.

Open Stages 2013 – 2016 focuses on learning, with each amateur company receiving training, director mentoring, feedback and support from the RSC and partner theatres. The project is part of the RSC's commitment to transforming the relationship between amateur and professional theatres.

Open Stages is generously supported by ESMÉE FAIRBAIRN FOUNDATION
