Weekend events programme

Sunday 30 August, performances at 12 noon, 1.30pm and 3pm
The Wind and The Sun by Tell Tale Hearts and In Situ Circus Theatre

Two rival siblings battle the elements in a competition to prove their strength. This turbulent struggle of Sun v Wind will have you vowing for your favourite character to out shine the other. You might be asked to help create the different weather conditions needed for the show because, as everyone knows, you can't always trust the British weather.

Based on the original fable by Aesop, this two person show celebrates the good old British weather and features juggling and acrobatics. Suitable for all ages.

Sunday 6 September, drop in 11am - 5pm, 20 minute performances throughout the day
Caravania! by The Bone Ensemble

Come and visit Caravania, a micro-nation formed of a real-life caravan and its awning.

In Upper Caravania (the caravan), you can take a 20 minute interactive tour where you'll play on the beach, journey into space and pay a trip to the chemical loo – which turns everything blue! Suitable for ages 5-11. Not wheelchair accessible.

In Lower Caravania (the awning), a range of fun activities are available for all ages. You can colour in your own caravan, design your own country and laws, and vote on important matters of state. Wheelchair accessible.

Other events and activities this summer

There are theatre workshops with practitioners throughout the summer holidays around the theatre.
