The White Devil

The Roaring Girl

Wealthy businessman Arden is convinced his wife Alice is cheating on him. He is correct – but he doesn't know the full story. Determined to free herself from a miserable marriage, Alice is in fact plotting to have him murdered.

Growing increasingly desperate to be with her lover, she recruits a band of would-be murderers. Immediately, they set off in pursuit of the unwitting Arden.

Husband, wife and lover find themselves locked in a deadly game as the assassins close in on their victim.

Making her RSC debut, Polly Findlay directs this darkly comic thriller. Polly's recent credits include Protest Song and Antigone for the National Theatre as well as Olivier Award-winning Derren Brown: Svengali. Sharon Small, whose credits include BBC's Inspector Lynley Mysteries and Mistresses, also makes her RSC debut as Alice Arden.

The RSC Ensemble is generously supported by THE GATSBY CHARITABLE FOUNDATION and THE KOVNER FOUNDATION
