Outrageous comedy The Merry Wives of Windsor is broadcast live to cinemas on 12 September.

Director Fiona Laird brings her fun-filled production of The Merry Wives of Windsor to cinemas around the UK later this month.

Featuring David Troughton as Falstaff alongside Rebecca Lacey and Beth Cordingly as the two wives he's desperate to seduce, the show will be broadcast live from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre on 12 September, with international screenings scheduled for later in the year.

The production runs in Stratford-upon-Avon until 22 September before transferring to the Barbican in London this December.
