Book now for a post-show Ghost Tour or trip to the top of the Tower to hear spooky stories about the theatre and its surroundings.

This Halloween, visitors can enjoy two special tours exploring the darker side of our theatre.

From 27 - 31 October, our Ghost Tour visits the older parts of the theatre to discover the ghosts from Shakespeare's plays as well as the spectres rumoured to haunt the building. Will you see the mysterious Grey Lady or the strange figure that wanders the Scott Bar?

The Ghost Tours will run for an hour from 11pm, starting at the cloakroom in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

Or perhaps you would rather take a trip to the top of the Tower with our Tower Terror Tales. Hear some of the horrible highlights of Stratford-upon-Avon and the gruesome stories that inspired Shakespeare's plays.

Tower Terror Tales runs twice a day, at 5pm and 9.30pm, in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
