As You Like It, Measure for Measure and The Taming of the Shrew go on the road later this year.
Our three summer Shakespeares for 2019 - As You Like It, Measure for Measure and The Taming of the Shrew - are to tour together from September into early 2020.
The shows are playing in rep, with 27 actors appearing in two plays each. As You Like It, directed by Kimberley Sykes, opens in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre on 14 February; Justin Audibert's The Taming of the Shrew starts its run on 8 March; and Gregory Doran's Measure for Measure opens on 28 June.
Following the Stratford-upon-Avon run, the company will perform at the Lowry in Salford at the end of this year before touring to five further regional theatres in 2020, playing for two weeks in each venue.
Tickets for Stratford-upon-Avon are already on sale, while tickets for the tour shows will be made available through the venues.
