Showstopper! The Improvised Musical announced for comedy festival

The award-winning show will come to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre for one night only on Sunday 15 September.

Comedy fans will be treated to a unique experience this September when Showstopper! The Improvised Musical comes to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

You have the chance to help create the show, as suggestions from the audience about setting, style and genre are used to create a brand-new musical every night, complete with fully-fledged characters, epic storylines, and song and dance numbers fit for any West End stage. Showstopper! started in 2008 and has since enjoyed eleven sell-out years at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, a critically-acclaimed West End run, an Olivier award and a BBC Radio 4 series.
