Matilda comes to Wales

Matilda The Musical has arrived in Wales for the first time.

Our multi-award winning musical is now playing at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff, until 12 January 2019. 

The character has a special link to Cardiff, as its creator Roald Dahl was born there, in the Llandaff district of the city, in 1916.

Matilda The Musical has won more than 85 international awards, including 16 for Best Musical. The show continues to play to audiences at the Cambridge Theatre, and is touring the UK & Ireland throughout 2018-19.

After spending Christmas in Wales Matilda will be packing up her suitcase and heading to Theatre Royal  Plymouth for the next leg of the tour.
