This year’s Olivier awards are cancelled, but you can catch the greatest moments from the last 10 years on TV and radio.

Extracts from Matilda The Musical and other Olivier award winning shows will be broadcast on ITV, in place of the 2020 Royal Albert Hall awards show which was cancelled due to coronavirus.

The ‘Olivier Awards – Greatest Moments’ programme is being hosted by Jason Manford and will look back at Olivier Awards ceremonies over the past ten years, with archive footage of performances and speeches, and a celebration of the shows.

The programme will be broadcast on ITV on Sunday 5 April at 10.15pm. Magic Radio will also broadcast a special programme celebrating the best Olivier Awards moments on the same evening, from 6-8pm.

Matilda The Musical won a record-breaking seven awards at the 2012 Oliviers, including Best Musical and Best Actor in Musical for Bertie Carvel (pictured) who played Miss Trunchbull in the show.

The winners of this year's Olivier Awards will be announced at an event in the autumn, depending on government medical advice.
