Our 2018 production of Timon of Athens is broadcast to cinemas later this month, with Kathryn Hunter reprising the role in the USA next year.

There are only a few more chances to catch our 2018 production of Timon of Athens, both on stage and in cinemas.

Director Simon Godwin's play features Kathryn Hunter as the generous Athenian whose kindness is exploited by those around her. She will be reprising the role next year alongside a new cast of American actors in Washington and New York in a production adapted from its Stratford-upon-Avon.

Audiences in the UK also have another opportunity to catch the show when it is broadcast to cinemas on Wednesday 20 November 2019. Filmed during its run in the Swan Theatre, this version features Kathryn with the original cast, including Patrick Drury as Flavius and Nia Gwynne as Apemantus.
