Join us from 23-27 August as actors, academics and critics lead sessions on RSC productions past, present and future.

Next week sees the return of our annual Summer School, taking place online this year.

The school is a chance to learn more about Shakespeare, his plays and our productions. Sessions will be led by a range of actors, creatives and Shakespeare scholars, focusing each day on a different play or theme. Audiences will also get the chance to see three previous RSC productions: our recent rehearsal room run through of Henry VI Part 1, and 1964's The Comedy of Errors and Richard III.

The Summer School includes sessions with:

  • Guardian theatre critic Michael Billington
  • Academics Professor Michael Dobson and Dr Andy Kesson
  • Actors from the current company as well as Mark Quartley, Katy Stephens, Pippa Nixon, Jonathan Slinger and Aidan McArdle
  • Directors Erica Whyman and Iqbal Khan

Tickets for the full week are on sale until 6pm Sunday, and day tickets are also available up to the night before each event. Visit the Summer School page for the full schedule and to book your place.
