See Hugh Quarshie as Othello and Lucian Msamati as Iago on BBC Four this Sunday (12 July), from 9.30pm.

The BBC Four broadcast of our 2015 production of Othello is part of BBC Culture in Quarantine, which brings arts and culture to people's homes during lockdown.

Iqbal Khan’s production of Othello was the first at the RSC to cast a Black actor, Lucian Msamati, as Iago. It played in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon and was broadcast to cinemas around the world in August 2015.
