The BBC Four broadcast of our 2016 production of Hamlet is part of the BBC's Culture in Quarantine project, bringing arts and culture to people's home during lockdown.

The play was directed by Simon Godwin for the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, then returned in 2018 with a slightly different cast for performances in Washington DC and a UK tour. The Stratford 2016 version will be broadcast on Sunday.
