Explore 100 years of theatre making for free when you bring a National Lottery ticket to our Box Office from 23 November - 1 December.
The Play's The Thing, our interactive exhibition in the Swan Theatre, features costumes and props from our shows, as well as a rare copy of Shakespeare's First Folio.
This is part of the National Lottery's #ThanksToYou campaign, giving back to all the National Lottery players whose money has funded venues and projects around the UK. The National Lottery Heritage Fund helped us develop The Play's The Thing and was a major supporter of Stitch In Time, the restoration and redevelopment of our Costume Workshop in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The redevelopment of the Swan Wing and The Play's The Thing exhibition are generously supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund
The restoration and redevelopment of the Costume Workshop is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, The National Lottery Heritage Fund, and The Government’s Local Growth Fund through the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership, with additional support from the Garfield Weston Foundation, Lydia and Manfred Gorvy, The Foyle Foundation, Coats – Official Thread Supplier to the RSC, The Wolfson Foundation and other generous supporters.
