We round up our third and final week of live rehearsals for Henry VI, with a video showing some of the highlights from the week.

The cast and creatives for our Open Rehearsal Project have completed their third week in the Ashcroft Room.

Viewers have been invited into the rehearsal process with three livestreams every weekday showing different aspects of the company's work on Henry VI:

  • 10 - 10.30am: The daily warm up gives audiences the chance to warm up along with the company
  • 12 - 1.30pm: Watch actors grapple with the text and put the play on its feet
  • 6 - 6.30pm: Daily Green Room chats answering audience questions

Properly recommending tuning into the live rehearsal streams from @TheRSC. Brilliantly produced, un-fussed, clear view into the room. @po_b in this afternoon spitting truths and making moves. Looking forward to watching how this work develops! #theatre #rsc #actor

The open rehearsal today was amazing. 90 minutes passed in a flash! Excited and grateful that I'll get to see how this develops over the next few weeks. #HenryVIPartOne

After watching much of the first week, I strongly recommend. To watch a play performance in the making is fascinating. Think it's a really brave and innovative thing for the RSC and those involved in this production to be doing. (And the warm up sessions are great fun).

The daily rehearsal sessions have now ended, but you can still watch on demand, and book for the rehearsal room run through on Wednesday 23 June at 7pm. All the live streams are available to watch again on demand until midnight on Friday 25 June.
