You can now book tickets for our rescheduled programme of shows for Winter 2021.

The Magician’s Elephant, The Wars of The Roses Parts 1 and 2 and First Encounters with Shakespeare: Twelfth Night had been planned for autumn 2020 but the Covid-19 pandemic meant they had to be postponed.

These shows will now play from October 2021 in Stratford-upon-Avon, and ticket sales are now open.

The Magician’s Elephant

Royal Shakespeare Theatre
Thursday 14 October 2021 - Saturday 1 January 2022

A magician conjures an elephant from the sky, setting off a chain of events so remarkable, so impossible, that it changes life forever. Our brand new musical for all the family reminds us all that even the impossible can be possible when we open our eyes and hearts to those around us.

This new musical adaptation of Kate DiCamillo’s heart-breaking and darkly magical children’s book, by Nancy Harris and Marc Teitler, is directed in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre by Sarah Tipple.
